I finally figured it out! Many days, after having dropped my daughters off at school, I pull out of the school parking lot to see the Valle Crucis Methodist bathed in the afterglow of the morning sunrise. Sometimes, the scene is simply breathtaking. However, I have never been able to capture it photographically because 1) There is school traffic to contend with and I have not been able to find a safe place to stand and 2) There are telephone and electric wires everywhere. But today I was determined. The light today pales in comparison to others, but I found a very tight spot to park the jeep and was able to lean out over the bridge that crosses Clark's Creek and snapped this shot. I still can't get the whole church in the photo (stupid wires) but I'm getting closer to figuring out the puzzle.
