If'n Harley was a leaf....

Harley_leaf

Ok, this may be a bit of a stretch... but when out shooting photos of our first frost today, I saw this puppy dog leaf which reminds me of Harley. See her floppy ears, her puppy dog eyes and the hole where the tennis ball fits? And, when I think about it, it seems appropriate that I post about Harley  because today marks the 2nd year that I started blogging. This is my 550th post and a large majority of my photos have featured Harley  in some  form  or another . I was gonna wax nostalgic today about what blogging and the folks I have met through blogging have come to mean to me...but nahhh! I'll just post this silly leaf photo of Harley instead. Now that, is what blogging is all about!

I see the dog! Happy blogiversary. Blog on!

Well, I kinda see Harley if I try real hard! I wonder what Harley would think if he knew????? Ah, heck, he'd probably be impressed as all get out!!

Happy blogversary, Marie. And the Harley the Leaf is just perfect. Nothing like ordinary objects to tease us into convincing visual metaphors.

That's definitely a stretch!

Marie...I just feel so close to you in your photography blogs...I can't wait day to day to see what you have in store for lil' ol' ME!!! Thanks!!!

I can give you that. I'm thinking of scratching Harley behind the ears, but don't let my Eskimo Spitz, Cotton, find out as his fifteen year old heart would be broken if he thought I was seeing a younger dog.

I see it!

This is a great site and your photos are just amazing. Based on the views, I'm wondering how long it would take me to save up and move over from the UK!

Happy Blogiversary to you and Harley. I would like to see more of Mr. Man in the future.

A work of art. Inspired by nature and simple, tho complex, forms. Flowers

Happy second anniversary of blogging!

Keep up the great work!

Way to go, girl!! We anticipate many years of your blogs ahead plus copious "Harley Helpings" in future pictures!!

Happy happy blogiversary! I look forward to another year of fantastic photos and interesting observations.
