I made a wish upon this star this morning. I wished that I was back in bed instead waiting on the military with 5 tv camera men. The press release said "be at the armory no later than 6:30am." The press release was inaccurate. Our National Guard troops of the 1452st left for Iraq at 8:03am. I wish them well...
By the way, I know that the star is probably a planet. The view is looking east, southeast. I am guessing the planet is Venus but if there is anyone out there who knows the truth, feel free to let me know.
