A veil of mist clung to the mountain ridges this morning. I decided to drive along the Charlie Holler Rd which winds beside the New River in Boone. If the mist wasn't present then you'd get to see patches of the rock quarry on the Bamboo Rd. As it is, if you look closely you can see some electric or telephone wires smack dab in the middle of the photo. Lines are always a photographic nightmare for me.
