I am not a good passenger.
Yesterday while youngest was driving, I did what every control freak does. I flinched, made noises of inpending doom, and punched my pretend brakes. Youngest was not finding humor in my lack of self-control and I was clearly not happy with her driving decisions. It was apparent that we were getting ready to have a negative exchange of words. All of the sudden she came upon a driver from Florida. We both watched in amazement as this poor guy made the
world's
slowest
turn
into a
gas station.
Ever.
We could not stop laughing. Tension released.
Then, last night during dinner eldest said:
" I love chemistry. Some boy is going to pay me money to help him understand chemical reactions. Balancing ionic equations is fun."
Dear husband and I traded glances and stifled our giggles. Later on we amused ourselves by rearranging the words in her sentences to take on completely different meanings.
