At first light this morning I could feel the weight of an incoming storm settling. The sky was heavy with clouds all day-gray clouds filled with textures. The sky must work out because I saw several 6-packs of abs rippling overhead.
This evening is a calm before the storm both literallly and figuratively.
A winter weather event will pass through the High Country. It doesn't take a high tech weather man to point this out to me. The looming clouds and smell of the air speak volumes to me.
The girls went to school today and were informed that despite the inclement weather, final exams will make before the Christmas break. One child is studying, the other will always dance her way through life....
I will be headed for Chattanooga soon to cover Appalachian's performance in the 1-AA Football National Championship. If you read this blog, I'm sure you are weary of all this sports posts, but it has consumed my worklife lately.
I am looking forward to the end of all the storms so that I may return to my peaceful blog....
