Snow fell last night. Just a couple of inches, but enough to get out for a much needed winter walk with Harley. We trekked up the path towards the Christmas tree farm. I had hopes of catching some late afternoon sunlight on a snow covered Grandfather mountain. The light wasn't right. Though I did have a blast watching Harley tramp in the snow, with nose to the ground, hoping to unearth pine vols. Alas, all she came up with after digging around was a face full of snow. She is such a pliant being. I noticed a row of grass about a the same color as her coat and asked her to sit. She did and I clicked away. All the sudden she heard a curious noise and moved her head slightly in order to get a better look-see.
Gonna go and start making football appetizers. I don't really have much of an emotional investment in this year's Superbowl, but watching the game and the commercials seems like the thing to do...Of course, if the Steelers were to win, I wouldn't mind.
