I haven't checked, but there must be a full moon 'round the corner. I say that because when I dropped off my youngest at school this morning, the only noises she made the entire trip were guttural and beast-like. Then, as I was leaving the school's parking lot, I noticed that save a few, most of the teenagers were zombie-ish and sullen, devoid of expression with blank stares in their eyes. It was not going to be a rock and roll high school morning but more like of Dawn of the Dead...
I warded off the evilness by listening to the Doobie Brothers sing Old Black Water on my radio.
Speaking of radio, look what I found. Free internet RADIOIO based here in the High Country and now available world-wide via web magic. Sweet!
The above photo has absolutely nothing to do with anything at all except that I it took this morning as I dawdled going to work via Hodges Gap Rd in Boone. I was listening to Jethro Tull's Bungle in the Jungle at the time and well, that's alright by me.
