Somebody's bees were having a pollen party in my front yard yesterday!
Local election primaries will be held on Tuesday and Watauga County politics are looking more like the dirty politics of Avery County. (Link takes you to a story on 'Nub' Taylor who is still running for Avery Sheriff, but who was also recently arrested for questionable practices in his role as county clerk.) Over at Watauga Watch Blog (scroll down to "Who shot the Sheriff") you can read plenty of anonymous gossip and hearsay comments tainting our local sheriff's race. But then again, I don't recommend it because after I read the 'R' rated allegations, I came away feeling a need to reach for the Windex to clean my computer screen. Besides, I've already cast my vote and I'm confident I did so correctly....
