Teenage daughter: "Mom! Where'd you put all my clean clothes? I can't find any of my hoodies."
Me: " I washed 'em, folded 'em and put them in the basket for you to put away."
Teenage daughter: "Well, I can't find them anywhere. I looked everywhere. I even checked in eldest daughter's room and they aren't in there either."
Me: "Well I promise I didn't eat them."
Teenage daughter: "But I have noooooooooo clothes to wear unless I find them."
Me: "You should have put them away when I asked you to."
Teenage daughter thinks for a moment and then looks inside her closet: "Oh there they are. See, if you hadn't made me put them away, I would have found them immediately."
Me: "It is my fault then?"
Teenage daughter says with a smile: "It will always your fault."
....And this said on the morning that she went to get her drivers license. She passed.
And here is something fun to ponder. The same gentleman who granted my daughter license to drive in the state of North Carolina is the owner of Meth Dog .
