Annie and I found an hour yesterday evening to freely wander the Valle. We stopped at our favorite pond near the Valle Crucis Conference Center. While I stalked flora, Annie did her "puppy gone crazy" dance through the reeds and weeds as the late afternoon sun fell just yonder the mountain.
Beth over at Switched at Birth recently bestowed upon me a Brillante Weblog award. What's cool about this award is that it is given by a blogger for whom I have a tremendous amount of respect. She entertains me while simultaneously making me slobber over my keypad with her decadent photos of food. In that spirit, I am going to pass along the award to a few fellow bloggers who I have followed for years now. They are all dedicated to our craft which we all know does take time and effort. All write well and/or have damn fine photos.
