It may be winter here in Hilly Billy land but 50 degree weather offered respite for some gal pals and me as we cruised twice around the Boone Loop and soaked in a bit of vitamin D.
But baby, it is gonna be some kind of cold and windy tonight (gusts to 65 mph.)
It is Apres Christmas and I have been feeling a bit photo lazy. Not sure why. I did tool around my yard with my camera in hand yesterday and watched clouds puff by the neutral colored mountains. If it wasn't for the washed out blue sky, I could swear my world was all tones of gray. I think maybe I keep hoping to see a technicolor world through my viewfinder. Oh well, maybe I'll just keep my fingers crossed for more rainbows in the new year.
