I started taking photos of App fans making the drive somewhere in Elizabethton, TN. Why?
Because it is the right thing to do under the circumstances.
The Burger King marquee in Elizabethton, TN gives us some love. I also saw well wishing signs in Foscoe, Elk Park and Roan Mountain.
This Blue Hen fan and I exchanged smiles. I asked her to hold up her sign so I could take her photo. I hope all the Delaware clan returned safely home. My husband and I have made the drive from Dover to Chattanooga many times and it is a long haul. Bet it is even longer after a lost championship game.
Happy ASU fans ride a strange vehicle to the stadium. Speaking of pregame festivities, I thoroughly enjoyed the Ranger's jump from the sky to the playing field. My favorite pregame memory is how the crowd helped sing the National Anthem when the audio system failed.
From New Orleans to Boone with love. If you know this family, you know that in their hearts, they are true Mountaineers.
There were many, many appearances of Santa Yosef, but this was the only snowman Yosef I saw.
At the Valle Crucis tailgate, a Delaware fan posed while kissing a freshly painted blue rubber chicken. On the whole, Delaware fans were amiable and good sports.
This is one of my favorite friends. Whenever I speak of 'B' on my blog, well, you are looking at her. Secret is out. We have a long walk in a future.
Here is another Valle Crucis friend. You'll see her daughter, who is a rabid ASU fan, in another photo shortly. Both have made appearances on my blog before;)
Faye and gang hold up freshly painted blue rubber/latex chickens. Where does one find rubber chickens? Easy. They are sold, along with everything else in the world, at the Mast General Store.
They were having an intellectual pregame conversation. I swear. But seriously, look at the size of the App Man...
The one in the middle is a rabid ASU fan who hails from the Valle. And 'A' I don't stalk you.
This tailgate is 'must stop' of mine at every ASU game. ASU fans arrived between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. to get a tailgate spot in the main lot of Finley stadium. Good information to know for next year;)
It is wldely believed that rubbing the belly of a Yosef Santa is magical. Yes, I did rub the belly...
